To Our Valued Club Donatello Owners,
Our re-opening date has again been extended, hopefully for the last time. As you know, we are subject to the specific orders of the San Francisco City Government. The Mayor recently re categorized the priorities for reopening of businesses and we have been assured that all City hotels will be able to reopen on a date “to be announced” in the middle of September, 2020.
This means that the entire Hotel Building will have been shut down and boarded up for an unprecedented five (5) months.
Just because the doors are shut, we have not been idle. Working with the Club Management Team, we are developing protocols for our operations and our guests once we open with the health and safety of our guests the paramount consideration. From the minute you come onto the property, stay in your rooms and leave the premises you will notice big differences. Consistent with Governor Newsom’s statewide order of June 18, facial masks must be worn at all on times while in the common areas. Capacity of our bright new and brassy elevators will be limited to four (4) guests at a time. The rooms will be cleaned after each guest’s use with quality sanitization products. Furnishings of the hotel rooms will be limited to materials which are sanitary cleanable and washable to reduce the possibility of contagion. Before reopening each employee will undergo several days of training in the new protocols and sanitization methods.
We are considering shutting down each room for one day between uses by guests. These changes will remain in effect for the foreseeable future and until we get the “all clear” signal from the government.
As we approach our reopening date, we will be communicating further with you about the specifics of the protocols.
Working together, we are going to eradicate this bug and not let it control our lives anymore.
Reservations through September 13, 2020 will be cancelled and our Reservations Department will contact guests holding those reservations to reschedule.
Remember, we have extended the provisions for allowing our Owners with Anniversary dates which expire between the months of March through September 2020, to extend their use time for up to 6-months after their Anniversary date. To request for an extension, you will need to make a formal request in writing either by mail to the CDOA, 501 Post St., San Francisco, CA 94102, by email at email@example.com or by fax at 415-885-8886.
Our Reservations Team is available to assist you with any inquiries and reservation requests. Our business hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. Please contact us at 415-885-8809 or by email.
The room reservation promotions for you and your guests which we have told you about in previous emails continue and were sent to you via email to your email address on file.
