BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
This Committee is composed of a Board Liaison, a Club Manager, none of whom
may serve as Chair of the committee, except in the absence of the Chair. It
includes other Owners who are prepared to provide creative recommendations,
plans, and solutions to increasing the occupancy and revenues of the Club
Donatello and to improve the availability of discounted products and services
for Owners through negotiation of such benefits for our Owners.
This Committee has the responsibility for regularly surveying the competitive
marketplace to determine what changes may need to be made in the overall
presentation, packaging, pricing, and communications programs necessary to
enhance the image and selection of the Club Donatello by Owners, Friends &
Family, Corporate Accounts, Exchange Guests, and the general public.
This Committee will periodically review the operating budget of the Club
Donatello for Marketing services to be provided and participate in the
development of the proposed changes to that budget from year to year. Committee
members, along with Club Donatello Management Team Members, will participate in
local/regional seminars/conferences/workshops necessary to monitor the
competitive situation and make recommendations to the Board of Directors for
action as necessary.
This Committee will periodically survey our Owners to see what additional
"values and services" they would like to have access to that would enhance the
total value of their being a Club Donatello Owner. This may include researching
and developing programs that cover basic needs such as discounts for
restaurants, travel, retail stores, insurances (personal, business or group),
accounting/legal advisory services, and related areas that are perceived to have
some additional value to our Owners.
This Committee will make recommendations to the Board prior to any
implementation of plans, programs, contracts, or negotiated terms and conditions
with external agencies, companies or entities to ensure that all necessary
protections have been put into place for the CDOA and to minimize risks for our
Owners.
